We experienced this issue recently on a couple of instance. It's due to https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-52804. A new version of Jenkins (2.138.2.2) should be released today to fix the issue. We will deploy the update ASAP once available.
In the meantime, you can continue to try to connect, hopefully you will not face the deadlock that make your instance restart. That's the only workaround we got so far.

Hi,
I was trying to set up jobs for es ( https://jenkins.eclipse.org/es/), but the machine behaves quite badly. When loading at all it typically fails to load images on screen, and after logging in every few requests there's a:
Please wait while Jenkins is getting ready to work ...Your browser will reload automatically when Jenkins is ready. Reload never happens, and requesting again often leads to a bad gateway error.
Anyone care to take a look at this? Thanks!
