Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] CfP deadline and low number of submissions

How about directly soliciting projects on their various forums, or directly open a bug report?

Hi,

two (obvious) suggestions:
- Every PC member should (again) send a message to their social networks (Twitter, Google+, etc.) about the deadline extension. It would help if we had a template for the message. - Every PC member should (again) personally encourage 5 people for submitting to ECNA

Cheers,
Maximilian

Hi,

As you may have noticed, and despite the deadline is now passed, the number of submitted talks is rather low (112 as of now). We will certainly extend the deadline and propose some ideas to change that. More on that later today. If you have insights about how to increase this number, please feel free to give it to us by replying to this mail.

The call of tomorrow is cancelled as we won't be able to make some choices from the current submission list.

Thanks.
Mikael
