Hi everyone,
Some news about WG-related tracks.
- CDT summit (for CDT committers and contributors) will most likely happen. CDT day from last year won't be advertised like this. The Embedded track seems to be enough to cover talks about CDT. - Science WG is willing to have a science track instead of a science day. Do you agree that we had this new track to the list? I think we should ask to someone from this WG to join the PC as I don't think any of you is involved in it. Do you agree to welcome a new member to the PC? Here is a description for this track as it could be put on the CfP page (thank you Anne ;))
This track is for you if you want to talk about the tools on your scientific workbench, or show how you perform data analysis, visualization, or modeling in your scientific field. Any science-related topic is welcome.
- LocationTech won't need a separate day, given F4G shortly after.
Cheers, Mikael
Perfect! Thanks Anne
Hi Julien,
Thanks for improving on that (old) description.
Ian sent an update as well — I think it encompasses what you suggested:
The IoT Day features talks on building IoT solutions. Proposed talks might include experience reports on using Eclipse IoT projects, best practices on IoT security, architecture and scalability, innovations in open hardware and networking, new ideas for IoT open source projects and other topics of interest to IoT technologists.
Does this look good to everyone? Thanks.

Hi, Sorry for being a bit late but the IoT day description seems a bit outdated and targeting makers oriented talks.
My proposition:
oT
Day This day features talks on creating applications for IoT. Proposed
talks might include experience reports about using open hardware such as
Arduino, BeagleBone, Raspberry Pi, using Eclipse IoT projects, or new
open source projects for IoT. - See more at:

Hello everyone,
I have drafted the Call for Papers page on the website, using the Gdoc as a source for the track list and track descriptions.
The page is accessible for all, but won’t be in the menu until it’s finalized.
Thanks, Anne
