Hey! We have the major program selection call today. Please don’t forget: the call starts 30min later than usual…!!! And be prepared: the call will take probably up to 3h. We can select 42 standard talks in total (this includes invited talks and early bird picks). (in addition to that we will have 2 director picks on top) If we would like to balance the program among our tracks, we can select about 8 talks per slot. This results in: Eclipse Platform/RCP/OSGi: 7 Languages and Tools: 8 Modeling: 3 Cloud Development: 4 Other Cool Stuff: 9 +1 from the Xtext day (belongs to modeling?) (32 talks in total) In that selection we have: 2 female speakers 6 new speakers That looks quite good, I think. (even though I would love to see more female speakers at the conference) So please prepare a bit for the call: - identify talks you would like to see in the final program in addition to the “accepted” ones - identify talks you would like to discuss See you at the call today!!!
