Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] the votes and the stars - final decision

Hey!

After the discussion about the votes on the mailing list (thanks everybody for participating and for sharing your thoughts), I will make a final decision now in order to get everybody on the same page when moving forward.

We will use:

5: Absolute Accept (for me)
4: Should be in the program
3: Ok
2: Probably reject
1: Absolute Reject (for me)
0: No vote (either no vote yet, or really no opinion -- although try to vote on most of the talks).

This is what Ian described at the beginning and what I like most.

Please use this voting scheme while judging the talk and tutorial proposals.
Please also continue to ask questions and give feedback via comments to the authors, so that they can improve their proposals until the final deadline on Nov 17.

Happy voting!!!

Cheers,
-Martin

I guess it is something around 5-star means “must have in the program”, and 1 star means “definitely reject”, with zero stars “not voted on”, but it would be great to reach some kind of common sense about this.
