All, I have put together a draft EclipseCon schedule. We are planning to do a big promotional push this Wednesday so I am hoping to have it finalized by then. https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/eclipsecon/schedule/session/2014-03-17 Can you please review and let me know if you have any suggested changes. I’ve tried to 1) ensure one timeslot does not have talks from the same track, 2) each timeslot has a 2-3 well known speaker, 3) tracks are spread out over the 3 days and 4) in each time slot try to have a balance of intro, case studies and advanced. I am not perfect/successful on all 4 in each time slot but I hope it is pretty close. All of the rooms are pretty much the same size. Room 8 is slightly smaller so I did not put any obvious popular talks/speakers in Room 8. However, in general don’t worry about the room assignment. If you do have changes it is very helpful if you tell me what two sessions you would like to see swapped. FWIW, I would encourage you to not lobby for a different time slot for your sessions just because you don’t like that particular time slot. J Finally, there are some UI bugs in the schedule that will be addressed later today. Feel free to send me a private email with any issues you find but I have already sent Chris G a long list of improvements. I hope later today he will have time to fix them up. Ian |
