[eclipsecon-na-program-committee] Agenda and plan for the next week
Hi everyone,

As you (hopefully) know, we have a PC Meeting tomorrow [1]. As I mentioned before, I'll be off-line for the next week. Ian S has offered to host the meeting tomorrow at 8:30 PT / 11:30 ET / 5:30 CET. I likely won't be checking my work email, but if you really need to get ahold of me you can use my personal email (irbull @ gmail.com).

Here are a few things that I think should be covered:
  1. Make sure your friends / colleague / organizations know about the CfP [2].
  2. Keynote update
  3. Invited speaker update (see below for some information)
  4. Tutorial ideas
  5. Earlybird process
  6. Anything else?

Invited Speaker
  1. Tim Bray: Shawn mentioned he would reach out here.
  2. Docker: I've sent a invitation to Solomon Hykes. It might be a long shot, but let's keep our fingers crossed
  3. Java 8: Gunnar and Ian are working on this
  4. Typesafe: Pascal and Ian are working on this
  5. Node.js: Andrew E. offered to help. Please let us know if you found some leaders in the community that we could reach out to. 
  6. Build tool in the web space:
    • Cedric mentioned a few people here. I looked these people up and I think Jacob Thronton (bootstrap) [3] and Paul Irish [4] would be great. Sindre looks interesting, but he's in Norway.
