What do we do if more people request
on-site BoFs than we have room for? We'll have to pick the winning topics
or suggest topics be merged I suppose.
John
For the onsite-scheduled BoFs, it's first-come, first-served.
Have you gotten feedback from people disappointed that they wanted to do a BoF but couldn't get a room? I haven't, but sometimes this information doesn't get back to me. I've never seen a comment about this in an attendee survey.
Thanks, Anne

question about onsite BoF signups

Hi all,
We are trying to streamline the onsite BoF signup process.
My idea is to have the onsite BoF organizers sign up to reserve a room/time,
but not have any sort of signup for the BoF attendees.
Do you think this will be OK?
The pre-scheduled BoFs are in the larger rooms, with the
theory that those will be more heavily attended, so space for those should
not be an issue.
There are six BoF rooms, and they hold 96, 60, 60, 24,
15, 15 (classroom setup).
Please advise! Thanks.
