Some comments on the currently selected talks.
First of all, I get it that you guys are not too much into modeling/dsls … :-| Currently only 9 of initially 20 planned talks made it. We have to adjust that at least a bit as the community seams to be a bit differently allocated than the PC.
In addition to that here are some talks I'd like to highlight:
I think this one would be good, as the speaker is good, new and the technology is relevant (outside of eclipse)
We don't have a talk by Ralf so far.
These two talks look similar, are done by the same speakers and are not voted too high on. I think we should only have one of them. The two speakers also have a third talk on p2 accepted.

Reminder we have an EclipseCon PC call
today:
Monday, November 26 - 11:00 PT / 14:00 ET / 20:00 CET
I have done a first round of selecting
the 68 accepted talks based purely on your PC votes. You will see the PC
tag "in" on the top 68 standard length talks by vote. In the
call today we will:
- Look at each category and see
if they are over/under represented
- Consider some changes to the
themes/categories to make sure we have strong content for each theme
- Look at talks that are potentially
duplicate material within the accepted set and see if it makes sense to
eliminate one or combine talks to free up more room
- Look for candidates that can
be combined into a longer talk in the 5-6pm time slot.
- Ensure we have a good representation
of new speakers
- Ensure we have a good representation
of experience reports from adopters/consumers
I expect 68 talks will enter the call,
and a slightly different 68 will leave it! If you cannot make the
call, please review the current accepted talks in your focus areas in consideration
of the above bullet points and send your feedback to the list.
