I completely agree. But, if we know nothing about
the speaker and they have no relationship to the project, it's a bit more
of a gamble that they will represent the subject well. I agree the reverse
that being a committer certainly doesn't guarantee a good speaker! In the
end it's just one more factor to weigh amongst others.
