The Eclipse PMC
has informed on December 1, 2017 about the new release cadence: https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/cross-project-issues-dev/msg15021.html.

Here are some
new details that the Eclipse TLP PMC decided today:

- The last milestone
in the release is the freeze for any API breakage.
- RC1 is the freeze
for API and features.
- We have RC1
to RC4, RC4 on demand only.

The IP deadline
has not yet been fixed with the Eclipse Foundation.

NOTE: What the
Planning Council decides for the release train might differ from this.
