[eclipse.org-planning-council] Koneki to join the Juno Simultaneous        Release

Greetings Planning Council.

The Koneki project would like to join the simultaneous release. The purpose of this project is to provide Machine-to-Machine solutions developers with tools easing the development, simulation, testing/debugging and deployment of such solutions. The Technology PMC feels that they will be a valuable addition to the release train.

The project was created in May 2011. It is currently in incubation, and is planning a 0.8.0 release with Juno.

The project already produces signed builds and a p2 repo, their IP log is accurate, and their project plan is ready. Building against the latest Juno milestones produces stable builds, that have been successfully smoke-tested.

The project is getting a lot of interest, with 1200+ downloads of the tool already (including installations made by the via the Eclipse Marketplace). The project leadership feels that being on the train would be a great opportunity for the project to reach a broader community.

Thanks for your consideration.

Wayne
