Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] RE: EclipseCon memory stick and Ganymede M5

So, then, unless someone from BEA or Apache wants to help get theirs on the stick, it looks like it's going to be a JVM-free experience again this year. Still not the end of the world, of course, but it would have been cool to have a fully-self-contained Eclipse Ganymede w/ p2 installer on a stick.

Martin,
No, the Foundation is not comfortable with that license.

JRE Redist Licensing: Nick have you followed up with IBM?
FYI, Sun appears to allow free redistribution of its
JRE when it's unmodified and there is some value-add:
  http://java.sun.com/javase/faqs.jsp#Licensing
  http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/jre-1_5_0_14-license.txt
Bjorn/Janet would such a license be acceptable for the EMO?
