Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] eclipse.org server usage patte rnsversus new innovative tools

If you hate newgroups, try IRC (interactive) + Wiki (distilled):

Setup: http://wiki.eclipse.org/IRC
Log: http://echelog.matzon.dk/?eclipse
Support FAQ: http://wiki.eclipse.org/IRC_FAQ (actively maintained)

There's also Remy Suen's KOS-MOS IRC channel bot who is now trainable,
which is great for providing easy tech support w/o having to repeat
yourself in replies:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=201751
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bot_Framework

Cheers,

Nick
