Eclipse Marketing Symposium
Held 21st of September, between 1 – 6 in the afternoon, in Chicago.

Details:
·    Two invited ‘key-note’ speakers.
 Ian has started the outreach to go after Carl Zetie, Stephen O’Grady of
Red Monk

·    Lightning Talks: To get member companies to discuss case studies by
individual member companies.

 Topics:
·    Who is the Eclipse Developer?
·    Selling Open Source Commercial Products – IBM
·    Recap of Eclipse in the Embedded Market
·    Press and Analyst Community Coverage - Sybase, Inc.
·    Best Portals to Drive Web Traffic
·    Partner Programs

Talks have been identified and the speakers are being lined up. There are
still two more slots open for focus. The topics are limited to marketing to
increase Eclipse adoption.

·    Significant Vendor interest.
·    Eclipse Foundation needs to determine if they want to send collateral

Ian floated the idea of doing multi-city tours

·    Delivery of Content TBD: Customers, Vendors, Analysts
·    Sub Committee formed
