Re: [eclipse.org-feep-stakeholders] Friends of Eclipse Enhancement Program: 2017 plan

Hi Mickael,

Wouldn't the new Generic Editor + the Language Server Protocol integration be a good replacement for all existing WTP SSE editors?

I like the idea. You seem to have a clear idea about the bugs needing attention. Would you be kind enough to gather this list and share it with us? I imagine it is a subset of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&classification=WebTools&component=wst.css&component=wst.html&list_id=15408409&product=WTP%20Source%20Editing&query_format=advanced

A 1st thing would be IMHO to have someone caring about the various open patches on https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/q/project:sourceediting/webtools.sourceediting . By the way, I believe the state of the SourceEditing project should be discussed in the Architecture Council. There need to be things done to increase the amount of committers there. I hope FEEP can help to motivate contributors...
