Ian, did you see my Xtext session at Jazoon? The video is available on Parleys and I used a bit of video footage of one of Martin's talks to prove him wrong :-)

But still, he might be an interesting keynoter.

Smalltalk jokes aside, Dan Ingalls might be a good keynote.  Check out his recent work on the Lively Kernel which is pretty amazing.  Here's his QCon session.   I missed his session which was the day before I arrived but I have seen him speak at a keynote at OOPSLA with Alan Kay.
