RE: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] EclipseCon 2009 scheduling M1

Title: New Page 1

Bjorn, this is really great for the Biz and Industry track – you got the order exactly as it should be.

One final piece for me and then I think I’m 100% done – could you schedule 727 (that I just curated) into a 10:10 short slot and then lock the Biz and industry sessions in place?  (I.e., I’m not up for trades unless there is some urgent conflict to address).

(as an aside, it’ll be great to keep the Biz&Industry lined up on Tuesday to help with member recruitment activities, etc.)

Here's a alpha (or, in Eclipse parlance, an M1) of the EclipseCon 2009 schedule.
I'm happy to accept feedback in one of the following forms:

  • Good Great job Bjorn, you rock!
  • Pretty-good As PC member for category X, please reorder my category's talks A and B
  • Reasonable As PC member for category X, please schedule my newly accepted long/curated talk A into the blank spot at day Y, time Z.
  • Not-so-good As PC member for category X, I want you to exchange my talk A with somebody else's talk B. The PC member for talk B (category Y) agrees with this swap.
  • Bad Talks A and B on day X, time Y have the same speaker

I tried to keep categories sequential and definitely without horizontal conflicts. Other than that, oof, it's a hard task.
- Bjorn
