Re: [eclipse-scripting-dev] Setting up git support for contributing

For contributing at eclipse, we tend to use Gerrit.  The scripting project clone information can be found at https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/admin/projects/e4/org.eclipse.e4.scripting

Here's a good getting started tutorial with Gerrit: http://www.vogella.com/tutorials/Gerrit/article.html and you can see how to use it in sections 6, 7, and 8 at http://www.vogella.com/tutorials/EclipsePlatformDevelopment/article.html#eclipsegerritcontribution

Ok, so from the https://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/Scripting/Contribute page I see that the public git page is at http://git.eclipse.org/c/e4/org.eclipse.e4.scripting.git/ with the main repo at http://git.eclipse.org/c/e4/org.eclipse.e4.scripting.git/

From http://git.eclipse.org/c/e4/org.eclipse.e4.scripting.git/tree/CONTRIBUTING page points to https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/eclipse.e4/developer , is that page still relevant? And if so, shouldn't /org.eclipse.e4.scripting. be there?

What is nice about that page is that it points to https://github.com/eclipse which contains a number of GitHub forks/clones of multiple eclipse repos. Same question here, shouldn't org.eclipse.e4.scripting be there?

I have to say that I have more experience in using GitHub than the current Eclipse foundation set-up, so my current plan (unless you can point me on a better direction) is to create a fork/clone of http://git.eclipse.org/c/e4/org.eclipse.e4.scripting.git in GitHub and use it as a base for my changes/patches/fixes/branches.
