Actually, it kinda works.  You just need to make sure to put a / at the end

rsync rsync.mirrorservice.org::download.eclipse.org/eclipseMirror

doesn't show the eclipse.org subdirectories, but this does:

rsync rsync.mirrorservice.org::download.eclipse.org/eclipseMirror/
