Somehow that doesn't exactly 
  inspire confidence... perhaps we should aim for Speedo suits instead?

There is no doubt of that and 
  it will constrain designs to ensure the proper facades can be built around it. 
  But it's certainly something I will be working to achieve for the resources 
  stuff. We certainly don't want straightjackets, but we will be wearing Sumo 
  suits ;)

That sounds hard to do, but if the community can really pull it off, 
  that would be darn cool. 
  
At any rate McQ 
  relayed his confidence that we can do the cool stuff and keep backwards 
  compatability. It's obviously more work but necessary and
