I'm fine merging almost all the *platform* mailing lists into one eclipse-platform mailing list. I would only keep platform-releng-dev. We can also merge the jdt mailing lists.
eclipse-dev to reach all Eclipse SDK developers (Equinox, Platform, JDT and PDE) and the PMC mailing list should stay.
Mickael, please open a bug report and post it here.

fully agree.
Can you create a list of lists which you propose to merge, so that one can see which goes to be merged to which one?
Or should this happen on a concrete bug?

Hi all,
At the moment, there are many fine-grained mailing-list for the Eclipse project, see all the platform-*-dev@xxxxxxxxxxxmailing-lists; plus the eclipse-dev and eclipse-pmc ones.
Given that those mailing-list have very low traffic, would it be possible to merge some of them just like we merged some Platform component some time ago?
