[eclipse-dev] two content type extension points in the SDK

We have two content type extension points in the SDK:
org.eclipse.core.runtime.contentTypes
org.eclipse.core.contenttype.contentTypes

This is a bit confusing to users, especially since one isn't deprecated. They are identical as far as I can see and noone seems to remember why we have the old one :)

I propose deprecating org.eclipse.core.runtime.contentTypes in favor of org.eclipse.core.contenttype.contentTypes.

I'd like to put this on the agenda for Wed's upcoming call as this probably requires PMC approval for M7
