Debug:

- bug fixing

- continued work on launch configuration resource mapping and migration

 (not released to M3)

- continued work on runtime classpath editing (not released to M3)

- continued work on flexible debug platform in branch

 - prototype implementation of model deltas to drive debug views

 - models will be able to provide a model proxy for specific views


Platform/JDT Text:

- investigated using binary trees to make position tracking more efficient

- bug fixing and inbox tracking

- 50% on vacation


JDT UI:

- M3 testing

- refactoring:

 - polish work for the new Code Cleanup action

 - finished implementation of refactoring history index

 - cleaned up new history API in LTK/Core

 - investigated how the new model merge support provided by

   team can be leveraged by refactoring

 - continued work on updated derived members when

   renaming types

- package explorer:

 - added support for non Java working sets when in
   working set mode. Now resource working sets can

   be used as well, if the top level elements of

   the working set are adaptable to IProject

- build path:

 - added a "Link Source" action to the source page of

   the build path properties page to ease linking
   additional source

- new project wizard:

 - the new project wizard now supports selecting a JDK
   for a project instead of a compiler compliance level

 - added a create source folder action to the new project

   wizard's build path page (the second page of the wizard)

- participated in the LTK summit

- participated in Common Navigator discussions


Workspace:

- File System performance improvements

- investigating Preferences performance regressions

- investigating linking arbitrary filesystems using linked resources

- released API for supporting model-based merges

- involved in discussions with UI and other teams about logical model

 support issues

- M3 testing


PDE:

- enhanced and automated plug-in dependency validation to forecast more

 lurking launching startup problems when running any PDE launch

 configuration

- manifest.mf highlighting - work in progress

- hosted a gala for a visiting Helvetian friend/committer


Install/Update:

- server-side automatic mirror selection based on PHP script in testing

 phase

- new JUnit test case added for install handlers


User Assistance:

- welcome new UA team member, Curtis D'Entremont [Hey, Curtis! Ed.]

- Investigating failing Standalone Help on Mac

- Continued work on Dynamic help

- CheatSheet JUnit testcases refresh
