Debug:
- continued work on breakpoint refactoring test suite
- shared prototype of flexible hierarchy/asynchronous viewers with
  workbench for review
- began review of pluggable view update policies from Samantha Chan
- added tests to automated suite for breakpoint import/export
- began work on centralization of launching preferences and perspective
  settings
- bug fixing & triage

JDT UI, Platform Search/Compare:
- JDT & APT summit
- attended OO-DACH conference in Linz
- M2 testing
- 3.1.1 fixes
- Working on prototype of a refactoring aware catchup action (based on CVS)

Platform UI:
- bug fixing
- JFace and Data binding review
- investigation of logical model issues
  - working with Michael Valenta on commands
- leak fixes
- preparing for JAOO conference

  - standalone + movable stack issues
- work on Problems view filtering enhancements
- working on an extensible Drag and Drop support for parts

JDT/Core:
- JDT & APT summit

- tuned compiler semantics for method override and ambiguity

- work in progress on migrating code formatter to DOM AST (from
  compiler AST)
- work in progress on compiler null reference analysis
- posted draft milestone plans for M3 and M4
- investigating performance test degradation for DOM AST creation
  (current belief is that the test is broken)

Rel. Eng.:
- 3.2M2 build week
- new port contribution process exploration
- troubleshooting build issues with HP
- planning build lab maintenance (gremlin extermination)
- build process optimization ongoing

Platform/JDT Text:
- polish of new content assist participant work
- participated at JDT Summit
- working towards 3.2 M2

PDE:
- eclipse application launcher undergoes reconstructive surgery:
  - launcher delegate and tabs become API
  - launch configurations are now portable and sharable.
  - added support for variable substitution
  - added support for working directories
  - you can now launch without specifying a workspace location (this
    one is for DJ)
- OSGi launcher:
  - work in progress
  - early review:  "It (the OSGi launcher) is gorgeous" - Pascal Rapicault
- prototyping the new NLS wizard to externalize strings in plug-in
  manifest files

User Assistance:
- working towards consolidating Help, Welcome and cheatsheets into one
  User Assistance component
- prototyping dynamic help content serving

Install/Update:
- update Core refactoring
- enhancing remote connection management

Workspace Team:
- finishing up patching wizard improvements to be released early in M3
- working with UI team to address logical model requirements on Command
  handlers
- discussion and evaluation of WTP features framework
- getting Core and CVS test suites running on new Mac OS version
