JDT/Core:
- bug fixing
- polish & performance:
    reducing compilation transient memory consumption
looking at speeding up syntax diagnosis
reducing amount of binaries loaded during compile
- more fault tolerance in type hierarchies

Debug/Ant:
- bug fixing
- M9 test pass & release
- prioritizing & fixing bugs for RC1

Platform/JDT Text:
- bug fixing
- polish
- performance work

Welcome:
- still debating what to show in the standby content by default
- work remains to be dynamic-aware (react to bundles coming and going)
- cheat sheet state is now saved/restored using memento
- cleanup and bug fixes

Help:
- polish and bug fixes

Update:
- bug fixes and polishing
- draft of the test plan made, still needs to be finished by merging
with portions of the old test plan.

PDE:
- remaining issue: -dev not sufficient for certain scenarios (for linked
output folders, for some Ant scenarios where some classes should be
excluded from the runtime). Added support for project-relative -dev
control that is currently dependent on some issues with storing
  project-relative preferences.
- remaining issue: exporting (building) features that support more than
  one explicit os/ws/arch combinations
- remaining issue: launching without update configurator - we will just
list all the plug-in if we detect that there is no update configurator
(cannot pass platform.xml because there is no configurator to pick
  it up)
- polish and bug fixes

JDT/UI:
- M9 test/fix pass
- bug fixing

Platform/Search:
- M9 test/fix pass
- bug fixing

Rel. Eng.:
- 3.0RC1 build schedule:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/platform-releng-home/buildSchedule.html

- collecting performance data for R2.1.3 and 3.0M9
- moved to 3.0M9 plugins and startup.jar in
org.eclipse.releng.basebuilder.
- testing build mechanism with latest builds
- fixing internal tools
