- date tags are now supported for checkout, compare, replace
- added checkout wizard that doesn't require opening repositories view
- added CVS checkout as a new project wizard
- repositories location can now be configured with an encoding preference 
(see 32539)
- progress feedback work
- new icons
- investigating password caching improvements

Team
- preparing the synchronize ui APIs for freeze.
- reviewing APIs.
- created patch for workbench that will allow repository providers to use 
a single lightweight decorator to decorate multiple quadrants. (43821)
