Re: [eclipse-dev] Proposal to reduce mailing list noise

It would help me (and other digest subscribers) a lot if the people on 
this list would be a little more diligent regarding their quoting and mail 
sending habbits. A fullqoute of previous messages IS NOT necessary. It 
would also be nice to STOP POSTING HTML MAILS to the list please: While to 
might look fine if you get them delivered separately, every receiver of 
the digest (which exists to REDUCE noise) gets tons of text with no 
additional information in it since every text is in there twice - as plain 
text and as HTML. Infact the amount of HTML easily outweighs the plain and 
thereby readable texts. It is always like searching needles in a haystack: 
important things might easily be overlooked.

Other List I am subscribed to tend to be more disciplined in this regard.

O.k. I'll stop for now. For those with lack of imagination I have appended 
a *very short* part of such a digest at the end of this mail.
