JDT/Core has released some support for surfacing non-java projects into the
JavaModel. Thus JDT/UI should be able to render them in the package view as
well.
This means, you would not need to add the Java nature for this only reason.
Erich - any clue at when JDT/UI does the surfacing of non-java projects in
package view ?

Hi folks,
I was thinking of adding a Java Nature to the project containing the *.map
files (org.eclipse.releng) so it could show up in the Java perspective.
Does anybody hate this idea?
