A very modest but growing Performance section has been added to
eclipse.org.  See
      http://eclipse.org/eclipse/development/performance

The site provides a focal point for the current performance work as well as
a forum for retaining discoveries and educating plug-in developers in how
to get the most out of Eclipse.  It also serves as the home for the various
performance related tools being contributed by the teams themselves.

Smaller? faster? scalable?  Be all three!

p.s., I'll piggy back here a note to people who downloaded the
core-tools-patch_1.0.0.zip.  There was a bug in the resources.jar.  Please
either get core-tools-patch_1.0.1.zip or take the resources.jar from
today's integration build (I20021127).
