  I don't want to start a discussion about nntp reader on linux here.
Just one posting. 

  Yes, you're right. There is mozilla, tin, trln and especially knode
and pan. But none of those work ok for me. Mozilla keeps forgetting
which mails it already downloaded and so from time to time and need to
get all 30.000 messages all over again. Pan is cool, but doesn't have
enough features. Have you ever tried to follow the discussions you are a
stakeholder in?

  It is much easier with email, at least for me.

  Ok, I promise to never speak up about what newsreaders are good or bad
on this list.
