Re: [eclipse-dev] Installation
|
It's probably due to not having a JDK or JRE installed, with its bin
directory on your path.
The Eclipse drops don't ship with a JDK or JRE.
If this is the case, you should have seen an error dialog indicating it
couldn't find the Java VM.
I find the simplest approach is to download the 1.3 JRE, then copy the jre
directory to the eclipse directory.

Subject: [eclipse-dev] Installation
I downloaded the eclipse-SDK-R1.0-win32.zip file from eclipse.org site and
unzipped it.
Tried starting the eclipse.exe file and nothing happens.
Any thoughts?
