I am using the Luna M4

Yes that is correct. The only really functional parts here are the model definition and the EMF editor.

I am working on an alternative editor that can import features from the target platform. So this will import all current features into a model and we can then model the features and share and discuss this model.

After this, the tool can write out the new model to the workspace.

This is the plan.

Cheers,

Wim

Here is an EMF file:

Which can be further modelled by using this application:

Load the projects into your eclipse and run the EMF editor. I am building an editor for it that can run in E4 which is not yet finished.

To understand...I should import all the FDE projects into some (new) workspace...and then run an Eclipse instance that includes/runs these FDE bundles...and then copy the My.model above into a project within that instance workspace and open the model with the EMF editor.  Is that what you mean?

BTW...if that's right...does FDE depend upon any specific version(s) of Eclipse?

Thanks,

Scott

Please note that I have also started another effort a while ago in an attempt to visualize our features:

Hi Wim,

As I recall, you said in our last meeting that you had done some modeling of ECF features for the feature refactoring bug [1].  Could you make that available somewhere? (in repo, on bug [1], etc?) so that I and others can examine, and then discuss on the bug?

Thanks,

Scott
