| Re: [ecf-dev] ECF committers: Please read |
Hi Folks,
Sadly, I haven't yet heard anything from any of the folks on the
'missing in action' list below.
If you are a committer, and on the list, and wish to remain an ECF
committer, please do let me know (via this list, or via direct email to
slewis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx).
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Folks,
In order to keep the ECF up-to-date, every year I attempt to cull out
inactive committers...to make room for other/new committers, as well
as to reduce the administrative burden on the Foundation and on me as
the project lead.
Since we're approaching Juno release, I think it's time that this be
done again.
Here is the list of ECF committers who have not been active in the
codebase (at least according to the foundation's measures) over the
last six months [1]:
Mustafa Isik
Jan Rellermeyer
Marcelo Mayworm
Pierre-Henry Peret
Pavel Samolisov
Remy Suen
Sebastian Schmidt
There are many reasons to be inactive...and I'm completely happy to
have committers remain as committers even if inactive over fairly long
period...particularly if they have an intention (and plans) to
re-engage in some manner...which can be through coding and/or
non-coding contributions...e.g. documentation, presentations, bug
fixes, examples, tutorials, etc. A contribution is a contribution,
after all.
Action: If you are on the list above, and wish to remain as active
ECF committers, please respond to this posting...or to me
(slewis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) directly...with an email saying that you wish
to remain a committer. If, after ~3 weeks I haven't heard anything
back, I will remove you from ECF committer status.
Thanks...I hope to hear back from everyone soon!
Scott
