[ecf-dev] Proposed next maintenance release: ECF 3.5.5

Hi Folks,
There is a recently resolved bug [1], that I (and consumers) would like
to get into p2/platform for Juno release train.
To make this easier, I think that we should produce a version 3.5.5 of
ECF that includes this fix...and any other fixes since 3.5.4 (which was
released at the end of November 2011). Having a maint release will make
it easier for the p2/platform team to consume. It would also be good, I
think, to have another maintenance release prior to EclipseCon next month.
Committers, please respond with this email with +1,0,-1 for a 3.5.5
maintenance release in early/mid March.
I suggest that we target March 12 for a 3.5.5 maintenance release. Any
comments/thoughts on this? Assuming this goes ahead, if there are any
pending bugs that can be addressed then it would be great to get them
in...so committers and/or contributors...please take a look at the
current ECF open bug list [2], and if you can work on any of these in
the short term, please do so.
