Hello everyone,

Welcome to the ECD Tools WG list! The goal of this list is to allow
stakeholders from different projects and vendors to connect here,
initially to discuss the WG draft proposal:

Then we should agree on budget requirements and any activities we want
to do which require budget, and finally, after we agree on a scope
document and budget, to co-ordinate membership, and activities related
to bootstrapping the working group.

For now, I think it would be really useful to have everyone who has
joined the list to introduce yourself, and your interest in the working
group.

I'll start: I'm the Eclipse Che ecosystem and community manager, and I
want to ensure that Che is leveraging industry standards where possible
to give our users access to 3rd party developer tools, and to enable
interpoerability between our workspace management and various IDEs,
public cloud container services, and potentially other workspace
management solutions. I would love to see the Eclipse Foundation become
a center of gravity for these interpoerability and standards activities.
