A Committer election for Bouchet Stéphane on project Eclipse Che (ecd.che) was started by Roland Grunberg with this criteria: I nominate Stéphane Bouchet ( https://accounts.eclipse.org/users/sbouchet ) for committer on the Eclipse Che project. One of Stéphane's first contributions on the project was to add the JetBrains PHPStorm editor definition [1] as an option. Since then, he has worked to address various security issues in dependencies of che-machine-exec. In particular, one of Stéphane's recent contributions took the number of reported security issues in the cloud-shell component of che-machine-exec from 58 issues down to 17 [2]. Having someone actively checking and addressing these types of issues is really nice, and is often an underappreciated aspect of maintenance. He has proven he can contribute such fixes in a timely manner, and I would like to ensure his work is not held up in the event none are available to review it.
