Hi MTJ,

There is a discussion in the cross-project list to change the download format of the eclipse projects. there are a couple of advantages of this approach that are presents there.

The idea is that instead of providing a zip with eclipse plugins and features to be unzipped to on the dropins folder, we provide a zip with a p2 repository. The user would them download this zip repository and install on his eclipse distribution.

This is not a mandatory requirement. It is just a suggestion from the platform team and show a direction that the platform will go.

What are your thoughts on that? Does anyone foresee any problem with doing that with MTJ?
