[dataspace-protocol-base-dev] Question: About provider initiated data tr

Dear all,

I am aware that provider initiated Contract Negotiations are a little bit controversial, as per [1].

I have seen that the TransferRequest message does not include an optional field for declaring “providerPid”, thus I guess provider initiated data transfers are not in scope in the current version or could also be controversial. 

Am I right? Have there been any previous discussions on provider initiated Data Transfers? 

Would provider initiated Contract Negotiations / Data Transfers be in scope in the future?
