[cross-project-issues-dev] What are the exciting new features in Mars?

I have my own list, but I'm sure that it is nowhere near complete.

What--in your own projects or in others--do you consider to be the big new features in Mars?

I am particularly curious about new features (or improvements) that will impact users directly.

A quick review of the "details" page for Mars [1] (which uses the summary/first paragraph of the description from the corresponding release records) leads me to believe that (a) there are a great number of bug fixes and performance enhancements in Mars; and (b) many of our projects really don't want anybody to know what they're doing.
