Perhaps an even better question would be: why must you access jobs/
remotely?  As far as I know, Hudson does not expect anyone to access its
filesystem directly.  One should be free to set up (and tear down) a
slave with local disk and never have its local storage accessed directly
(or shared).  Isn't this why Hudson provides http URLs to artifacts in
its workspaces and JSON interfaces to just about everything?
