Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Are you ready to begin RC3?

(And thank you Markus. )

I hope everyone is aware we are now down to "weekly RCs"  for Galileo SR2 (right?) and with just a few weeks left.

Hopefully there won't be too many more changes coming, and should be a lot less stressful than this week!

Please test the Galileo maintenance repository, at its "staging" area,  at
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance/

Once we release, at end of February, the contents of the maintenance staging area are promoted to .../releases/galileo

Remember, this maintenance staging area is not mirrored, and is for basic testing only.

Thanks, David and Nathan, the EPP packages are now online and available for both releases, the Galileo SR2 RC2 and Helios M5, from the usual places http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/ or http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/. Two releases on a single day means a lot of stress for the infrastructure, the network, etc. and for all the people involved.

Regards, Markus

Well, no rush.

That's just my way of saying Helios M5 is done (mostly).

I have promoted "/releases/staging" to the built-in "/releases/helios" so anyone with a previous version of Helios installed should "see" the updates for M5. Good luck.

Test well ... so, we can have an even better M6!

I say "mostly" since I think "packages" download page is still being work, but will be available soon, I think.

As always, feel free to ask questions or raise issues, either here on this list, or in cross-project bugs.

Thank you all very much,
