[cross-project-issues-dev] Status and Plans for Galileo M6

First, and foremost, we are still working on it! So, please do not update 
any of your project 'build' files nor the update sites they are pointing 
to, unless you are requested to by me, Rich, or Markus. 

Second, we pretty much have a set of the packages ready for testing ... 
Markus will send note to epp-dev when ready for package owners to test. 

Third, we are still trying to get (another) uber-build to complete. In 
addition to what was there before, it should contain Buckminster, and JWT, 
and PDT ... but not STP or Riena. I'm not sure what the problem is with 
Riena and STP and may not be with those projects at all, but with P2 or 
something. We'll investigate once we get one more uber-build complete. 

Some of the complications are 1) EclipseCon :) [we're doing everything 
"remote", in between all the fun we're having at EclipseCon]. 2) the 
'IllegalState' P2 bug has caused us to move to other machines, (not on 
build.eclipse.org) to try and deliver something at all, and those machines 
don't have the gigabyte access build.eclipse.org does, so sometimes the 
uber-build fails due to "socket time out" type network errors. 3) 
sometimes the uber-build fails due to the "file not found" P2/mirror bug 
-- all of these issues causes each build to take several hours just to 
try, which then maybe has to just be restarted due to network problem. ... 
and many others complications ... but that's the reason we don't want any 
other changes made to the 'build' files or the update sites they point to, 
and the reason why we're tackling one problem at a time.
