Hi Mike!

Yes, that answers the question perfectly. Thanks for your prompt response!

RE: Question about DTP branding in Galileo

Brian,

The Galileo branding question is a good one. I’ve cc’d the cross-project list so that others can benefit from the answer.

Please see the Galileo Requirements[1], and the bug[2] that drove the idea.

There is a “must do” which states:

Each major project (as determined by participating PMCs) should have an About dialog icon with descriptive text (e.g. provider name = "Eclipse Modeling Project" and not simply Eclipse.org) and contribute to the welcome page.

It is important that the provider name start with “Eclipse”. E.g. “Eclipse Data Tools Platform Project”

Does this answer the question?

Question about DTP branding in Galileo

Hi there...

John Graham mentioned we should check with you guys about the Branding requirement in Galileo. It states that we're supposed to change the provider name from Eclipse.org to something more specific, like "Data Tools Platform" in our case.

Is this truly the case? John wondered if this was a change in Eclipse Foundation policy?

Thanks

Really? If so, then that is a change in Eclipse Foundation policy. I'd
check with license@xxxxxxxxxxx first.

I believe the only thing we need is a distinct icon.
