Yes, I know what you mean. Wikipedia articles are for reference and as
you would expect from any formal article, other information is usually
found at the bottom as a "See Also" or "References" section. That way
of doing things probably doesn't carry too well over here as articles
about an open source project and its "components" and "api" and so on.

For those that are interested, I've smoothed out an example of what I
think would be a good "common project template" with some help from
Nick last week.
