I actually don't know other than he's on a Mac.  Perhaps he didn't know
about the web interface.

I'm with Ed, I have a plug-in for Outlook (Newshound) that works fine
for reading newsgroups, so I really don't have a problem.  I'll forward
the bug to him for comment.
