RE: [cross-project-issues-dev] Mylar renamed Mylyn

My apologies, I should have sent a message to cross-project-issues-dev earlier. 

 

It was challenging doing this in a way that was transparent enough to our integrators (pre-announcing on a bug-report that Eric links) and then getting the announcement out in a coherent way (avoiding having EclipseZone’s incomplete communication mislead users and integrators).  Note that I also blogged some additional info about the move.

 

If anyone is interested in detailed status please add yourself as a CC to the bug.  Related to Europa:

·         In terms of infrastructure and code, we are mostly there and wiki pages are being updated. 

·         We should have a “Mylyn” build up on the Europa tomorrow.  The trickiest part of this is invalidating the old installs without forcing users to remove them, since uninstalling plug-ins and features is too hard.  This is bug 192308.
