Hi Folks,
For the longest time, the Eclipse Foundation has sponsored a
virtual server for the Babel project, running at
babel.eclipse.org.  The babel server code uses a copy of the
Eclipse Bugzilla database for user authentication.  Here's what is
      happening:
    1. The Foundation is deprecating all project virtual servers, and
provisioning new ones on a Cloud provider. We must therefore
      migrate the existing service.
    2. The Cloud server will not sync with Eclipse Bugzilla and the
current authentication mechanism will inherently break. Using
OAuth/OpenID would be the logical upgrade, but the effort of
updating the Babel server code is unknown. Please see Bug 463293 - Babel should use OpenID
Much work needs to be done for
the Babel service to continue, and we have few (zero?)
resources to implement the necessary changes. We need your
          input.  Please see:

Bug 549293 - Move babel vserver to the
              Eclipse Foundations cloud provider

    Thanks,
