Re: [automotive-pmc] PMC Approval required for Committer Election for Leonardo Rossetti on Eclipse BlueChi

Hi Andreas,
Hi everyone,

Are there any updates on the progress of this committer proposal?

Cheers,
Michael

Hi Andreas,

Sure thing.

Leonardo Rossetti's GitHub account: https://github.com/odra

He is an active member in the Eclipse SDV community and, therefore, provides valuable feedback from the community to BlueChi. Also, he prepared the BlueChi resources such as documentation, container/docker images for BlueChi at the Eclipse SDV Hackathon 2023 in Munich so that participants were able to use BlueChi during the maestro challenge. He was mentioned for this in one of the meeting notes here:
https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse-wg/sdv-wg/sdv-technical-alignment/sdv-technical-topics/vehicle-sw-orchestration-sdv-topic/-/wikis/Meeting-Minutes/2023-09-19-Blueprint-Workstream-Meeting

And, as stated in the committer proposal, he initiated the bluechi-on-yocto subproject (https://github.com/eclipse-bluechi/bluechi-on-yocto/) and will continue to work on it.

I hope he will be accepted as a committer to Eclipse BlueChi.

Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,

thanks for the committer proposal for Leonardo.

As the committer proposal contains not that much information, I would like to ask you to provide more information in this mail chat.

Could you please provide some links to:
- GitHub / Gitlab account
- contributions (e.g. Pull Requests, reviews, improvements of documentation ...) in GitHub / GitLab within the Eclipse environment
- activities in the projects (e.g., active participation on the project dev mailing list or other Eclipse mailing lists)

That would be great and helps the PMC to understand what Leonardo has done in BlueChi and be convinced that he has gained the trust of the project by understanding and living the EF development and IP processes.

Thank you so much!

Best,
Andy
