Hi Sharon,

We're so excited that the AsciiDoc WG has moved to the next phase! As for the next step, how exactly is the Steering Committee formed? I've reviewed the Working Group Process document (https://www.eclipse.org/org/workinggroups/process.php), but I'm still not sure how the committee gets officially started.

We are extremely excited to announce the Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation has approved the AsciiDoc Working Group moving to the Incubation Phase and the Working Group has been promoted to “Active” status [1]!

This enables the Working Group to move forward with the creation of the specification project and the formation of the Steering Committee. The first order of business for the committee is the finalization and approval of the Working Group’s Charter.
